I love color!  I love to find the most beautiful colors with the perfect lighting just washing over them!  My photographer's eye is always roaming, always seeking that perfect combination.  I take pictures almost every day, sometimes of ordinary things, just to practice with the lighting and exposure.  I hope in the next five years I learn as much as I have in the last five years.  If I do, I will be amazing :)

Infuse your world with color!

This is the phrase that goes through my mind from time to time...I love color. Saturated color, rich color, soft color, colors that don't match, just love color! And, of course, its partner in crime, light! So, this is my prompt for now....infuse my world with color. Because it is January and I live in the Northeast, it's tough for me to stay inspired. It is cold and dreary here, it is quite frankly very depressing. I have a tough time with the whole "seasonal" thing. We have snowmobiles, that was a good way for me to get through winter for a while, but I don't know if we're going to ride this year. I sleep a lot in the winter. I do try to figure out something to inspire me to keep creating even during the bleakest winter weather, so this year I will try reminding myself.....infuse my world with color! I guess that's all, and I'll see where it takes me!

Free Template for Valentine's Day!

Grungy Valentine

I've made a template to give away for Valentine's Day, and to say thank you to everybody for your help with my recent puppy venture. And...because of a lot of support and an opportunity that was sort of hit me in the face, I will soon be selling template packs! So...more to come on that.

And on the puppy front...Cheyanne is fitting in very nicely here. She is quite a character, she really has a big attitude...but I guess that's how it goes with little dogs. But really, she is a beautiful sweet little dog (with little needle puppy teeth) and I am so happy I have her.

And this is Cheyanne. She weighs a whole 4 pounds, and is almost 9 weeks old. She is a couch potato already, and is doing very well with housebreaking. I am so in love, and I want to thank the digi-world for helping me get her!! Oh....and as you can tell she loves the snow! Although sometimes she forgets what she's out there and gets cold and she's shivering too much to poop!

Here's Oreo...my beloved, I miss her a lot. She was so unique, and I wish I had had more time with her.

Well I've put a down-payment on my puppy and she is adorable, I'll post pics a little later (soon as I upload them) and pics of my departed Oreo also. So...I'm almost there, hopefully I can get here tomorrow or Monday. So I wanna thank you all in the digi-community from the bottom of my heart, this is a great big deal to me!!!

Now...the technical issue.....I have sent all the links (I think)...I had one person send me a PM that she didn't get it yet. So...if you haven't gotten it yet please let me know...I've never done anything like this before, and I bet the designers LOVE the feature where it automatically downloads when you purchase something! 7 Pack of Templates

Well I broke down and did it. I've posted a batch of templates for sale. Now I in no way want to be a designer, or be affiliated with any store...but here's the story.
In 2001 I got a Siberian Husky puppy. She was my baby, she was like my fourth kid. Well in August she all of a sudden got quite sick. I thought I'd take her to the vet and they would give her some medicine and she'd be fine. Well that wasn't the case...she had a large cancerous mass in her chest. She couldn't breathe, she couldn't even get up off the porch. The next day I took her and her put to sleep, and carried her home and buried her. I wanted to get another puppy, but couldn't even think about another husky, because it just wouldn't be her. So...last week I met a little dog and fell in love. She's a Pomapoo...cross between a pomeranian and a poodle. I never thought I would ever want a little dog, but I do! So the woman who owns her gave me the number of the lady she got her from....and right now they have for sale a sister to the one I fell in love with. So I'm trying to raise the money to get this puppy....after x-mas and with no overtime, we just don't really have the cash. So...I have no idea how to do this, but I did manage to get a preview on my blog and a Paypal button, it's a donation for the pack of templates. If you would like to buy them and contribute to a good cause...I would thank you. If you buy the templates I will send the download link to you as soon as I can.
